Refund policy
Return Policy for Online and In-Store Purchases
If you do not like or the product does not fit, you can register your return within 30 days of receiving the item. To initiate a return, please contact us at servicecenter@sportdepotshop.com. Please also note that the product must be sent to the following address: Harkortstraße 12-32, 40880 Ratingen, Germany.
RETURN CONDITIONS FOR ONLINE AND IN-STORE PURCHASES
With your purchase voucher, you may return unused items at any time, and the refund will be credited to your original payment account. Please ensure the item is returned in the same condition as you received it. Please pack it with the original box or packaging material, and the manufacturer's relevant labels must also be included.
Used but undamaged products can be sent within 30 days using your purchase voucher, and the refund will be transferred to your original payment account. Soiled or damaged products resulting from normal wear and tear, misuse, or accidents will not be accepted.
Please note that due to the nature of the products, we do not offer refunds or exchanges for neoprene suits, dry suits, or swimwear if the hygiene seal is damaged. This list is not exhaustive and does not affect your statutory rights.
When you receive your goods, please inspect them upon delivery and before first use. If you believe the product is damaged or incorrect, do not use it. Further information can be found in our policy for damaged items or non-deliveries.
Offline Store Purchases
For products purchased in our offline stores, we recommend returning them in-store. With proof of purchase, you can easily return the item to any of our offline stores. Don't forget to bring your item with its original packaging and original label (if applicable) to the store's checkout. Returns are possible at any of our branches.
Returning products purchased in our stores by post. If the product is not covered by our manufacturer's warranty or the exchange is not our fault, you will be responsible for the return shipping costs; otherwise, we will cover the transport costs.
Online Store Purchases
To process your return, contact us with photos or videos via the Sport Depot Customer Support Portal for approval. Before the return process, Sport Depot requires at least 8 photos of the item to capture all aspects of the product. This determines the condition of the goods before they are sent back to us. An invoice or proof of purchase is also required.
Proof of purchase includes a digital receipt or an order number. Our customer service may require further information to process returns on-site. For returns by post, we verify proof of purchase using the RMA number.
Standard Exceptions
Discounted items are final and can no longer be exchanged or returned.
If you do not receive the product you ordered, you can notify us by email with pictures.
All special and custom orders cannot be returned or exchanged.
European Union 14-Day Cooling-Off Period
Nevertheless, you have the right to withdraw from or return your order within 14 days without giving any reason, regardless of whether the goods are shipped to the EU or not. As mentioned, you must return the item in its original condition, unworn or unused, with tags and original packaging. Please also do not forget to include the proof of purchase or receipt.
Consequences of Withdrawal
If you withdraw from this contract, we will refund all payments we have received from you, including delivery costs (except for any additional costs resulting from your choice of a delivery method other than the cheapest standard delivery offered by us), immediately and no later than fourteen days from the day on which we received notice of your withdrawal from this contract. For this refund, we will use the same means of payment as you used for the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise with you; in no case will you be charged any fees for this refund. We may withhold the refund until we have received the goods back or until you have provided proof that you have returned the goods, whichever is earlier.
You must return or hand over the goods to us immediately and in any case no later than fourteen days from the day on which you inform us of the withdrawal from this contract. The deadline is met if you send the goods before the fourteen-day period has expired.
You bear the direct costs of the return. The cost of returning non-shippable goods is estimated at a maximum of approximately €99 for a shipping weight of up to 30 kg, and for a higher weight from the 30th kilogram, a maximum of approximately €1.19/kg plus the base cost; for returns from German islands, an additional island surcharge of €75 is charged. The shipping weight is indicated in the product description.
You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods if this diminished value results from handling of the goods that is not necessary for checking their condition, properties, and functionality.
Refunds
Once we have received and inspected your return, we will inform you whether the credit is approved or not. If the request is accepted, the refund will be transferred to the original payment account within 10 working days. It may take a little longer because the bank or credit card company also needs time to process the refund.
